A Visual Identity project at Ember & Eve is designed to be a comprehensive toolkit, ensuring a brand feels cohesive across every touchpoint. The following elements are developed during the process:
Brand Strategy: Establishing the foundational "why" before the "visual."
Complete Logo Suite: A system of several logo variations designed to keep brand application flexible. This includes a Primary Logo, Secondary Logo, and Logo Marks.
Typography Styling: A curated selection of fonts that speak the brand’s language.
Color Palette: A strategic set of tones to evoke the right emotion.
Photography & Image Styling: Art direction for a consistent visual aesthetic.
Brand Patterns: Custom textures or motifs to add depth to the identity.
Brand Guidelines: A comprehensive manual on how to use all elements correctly.
Brand Collateral: A brand’s most powerful marketing move. It’s what stays behind. Whether it’s a business card, stationery, or a thank you note, collateral brings the brand to life in the physical world.
-
A complete visual identity project typically spans 30 to 40 days. This duration ensures the brand is built from the ground up with intentionality, allowing sufficient time for research, conceptualization, and refinement. Every detail is carefully considered to ensure the final identity is both cohesive and meaningful, avoiding a rushed process in favor of quality and strategic depth.
-
Packaging design is a specialized focus at Ember & Eve, and these projects are always a welcome creative challenge. To ensure a seamless design process and a high-quality final product, the following assets are required:
A Complete Logo Suite: Files should be in vector format (typically .AI, .EPS, or print-ready .PDF).
Brand Guidelines: Documentation of brand colors, typography, and visual style to ensure consistency.
A Dieline Template: The flat, technical blueprint of the packaging provided by the manufacturer or printer.
Content & Copy: All finalized text, barcodes, nutritional information, or legal requirements that must appear on the final design.
Please note: If a brand identity does not yet exist, it is recommended to begin with the Visual Identity package to establish the foundation before moving into packaging.
-
The journey from concept to creation is handled with a structured, collaborative approach to ensure the final result is both beautiful and strategic.
The Discovery Call: Once a project is booked, a dedicated call is scheduled to dive deep into the project goals, brand values, and vision.
Visual Research: A collaborative Pinterest board is established to align on the aesthetic direction and "mood" of the project.
Concept Development: The studio transitions into the design phase, translating the research into tangible concepts.
The Presentation: A thorough presentation of the design concepts is delivered, showcasing how the visual elements work in real-world applications.
Refinement & Feedback: A review meeting is held to discuss the designs. Any necessary revisions are implemented promptly to ensure the project remains on schedule.
Final Handover: Once approved, the final "Launch Kit" is delivered. The Branding Kit is a curated folder containing all finalized files, organized and ready for immediate use.

The One-Concept Method is a signature philosophy of the studio. Instead of presenting several "maybe" directions, the project’s full creative and strategic energy is focused into one single, meticulously refined solution. This method ensures that the final design isn't just an aesthetic choice, but the most effective tool for the brand’s success. It eliminates the "Frankenstein effect" and focuses on a cohesive, intentional vision.

A website project at Ember & Eve is designed to be as seamless as it is beautiful. The process focuses on custom Squarespace or Shopify development. It begins with a sitemap and wireframe phase to establish the user journey, followed by a design phase where the visual identity is integrated. Once the design is approved, the site is built, mobile-optimized, and tested. The journey concludes with a handover session, ensuring the site can be managed with confidence. The full process takes 3 weeks.
-
Visual Identity and Packaging projects: two rounds of refinements are included. This ensures the chosen concept is polished and perfected based on the provided feedback.
Website Design: follows a distinct process; refinements are integrated throughout the development phases (Sitemap, Wireframing, and Design) to ensure the final site is fully optimized. Any requests outside the agreed project scope or after final approval for any service are billed at the studio's hourly rate.

To make the investment more manageable, project payments are typically split into a structured schedule. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure a spot on the studio calendar and begin the discovery phase. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, prior to the delivery of final files or the website launch.
For larger, multi-phase projects (such as a combined Branding and Website package), custom payment installments can be arranged to align with specific project milestones.
